DGM HQ.
The sun is shining, the sky is blue…
Mr. Stormy and David are in DGM SoundWorld I on the Endless Road that leads to Red.
Of great personal significance: final posting to the Special Study Group IV – Reading The Dramatic Universe - Volume One, now completed after thirty-four months, following on from the other three volumes. DU I is most likely not the best place to begin The DU.
Reflecting on matters of interest. An interesting and informative e-mail forwards a reflecting-topic.
10.16 Checking The R2R Journals.
11.09 R2R de-hissing continues…
A call to Jeff Fayman, hopefully arriving in Worcester this afternoon.
Closing down the computer.
18.07 A kitchen conversation with David before getting into the car…
… covering various upcomings, shifts and choices to be made.
Leaving c. 12.35, but stopped for speeding just down the road before Bishopstone. Oh no! The policeman seemed to find my ready acceptance of responsibility refreshing…
Policeman: Anything you say may be used in evidence…
RF: Guilty! Guilty! I was driving too fast.
He then asked several mandated questions…
Policeman: How would you describe yourself?
RF: What would you recommend?
Policeman: Would you describe yourself as White British?
RF: What are my alternatives?
Policeman: Well, I could ask you if you were African.
RF: I’ll defer to you.
As I left, I leant out of the window and called: I’m speeding off now! this the end to our friendly badinage.
Continuing on my way, arriving home c. 15.10…
Unloading and into the Cellar for practicing.
A call from Jeff Fayman, who got lost on the way to Broadway in his hire-car, but is now safely in The Lygon Arms.
The Minx has also called: she is on her way home from today’s meeting.

A fab supperising with Jeff and Athena…
… with Jeff showing a wing mirror, inconveniently placed on the side of the car…
… exactly sited to get in the way when near other vehicles. Jeff also reported visits to unintended parts of the English countryside on the way from Worcester to Broadway. Perhaps for tomorrow’s outing I should drive.
Leaving Jeff and Athena at The Lygon Arms I…
… and home to the Minxie She and WillyFred.
Gentling time!
